The recreation village of Slapy and its surroundings is a well known area for relaxing only 30 km south of Prague on the Vltava river.
It is the perfect place for a family holiday or just to "get out" enjoying the water and water sports (sailing, paddle boats, waterscooters - in secured areas etc.) You can also rent a boat and row around with your family, sail on the well established boat transport system, swim or go fishig - a fishing permit is neccessary. The lovely forests surrounding the area invite you to go for long relaxing walks, mushrooming in the Autumn or cycling on the numerous cycling tracks that are well marked.
You can also see the world from the saddle riding on  horses that are available (2km) in Slapy where you can also go shopping or enjoy a meal on one of the many reastaurants in the surroundings(1km).

Novy Knin (The Museum of Gold), Konopiste and Dobris (Chateau),Karlstejn (Castle), Konepruske caves,The Memolrial of Karel Capek in Stara Hut u Dobris, Pribram (Miner´s Museum and the Holy Mountain - place of pilgrimage) and last but not least,the Capital City, Prague.

Discription:

A very pleasant cottage that has been partially restored in 2009. All the ground floor rooms in the cottage have been reconstructed, including a new bathroom. We took great care not to change the soal of the cottage since it is about 300 years old according to the oldest dated information and so the interior and exterior have not lost their charm.

The ground floor has two bedrooms sleeping 3-4 people each (25m2) in which are stoves for heating. You can try out the good old days and make a fire in these stoves using wood or coal and enjoy the crackling fire.There is no central heating! One of the stoves is still the original used for heating, cooking and baking that has been there for more than 40 years and it is still in great condition and functioning!

Further there is a kitchen (don´t worry ,you needn´t make a fire here!) It is equiped with a gas stove, microwave and fridge.
The small bathroom has a shower(no fear, it´s not 300 years old!), washbasin and toilet.

Parking is in the enclosed garden and there is a possibility to put up a tent and make a fire in an open fireplace.

Price

One week 300€ for the whole cottage.

Max. 3-4 people / room, total 6-8 people.

We take 50%  of the price at reservation + 100€ deposit

Reservations are from Saturday to Saturday.
